It’s not a booking fee, it’s a credit, applied dollar-for-dollar toward your actual service once your turn comes up. If you decide not to move forward before we’ve locked in a start date, it’s fully refundable.
Taking a number doesn’t lock in a final price or a start date. It locks in your spot in line, and puts money on the table that’s already yours toward the real thing.
Once it’s your turn, I’ll look at what you’re actually bringing me.
