Customer policy

International Customers

This policy explains how international purchases are handled for digital reports sold by Bert Mahoney, doing business as AI Brain Transplant.

Availability by Country

We may choose where our products are available and may refuse, cancel, or refund orders where we cannot lawfully sell, deliver, process payment, calculate required taxes, or provide support. Product availability, payment methods, taxes, prices, and languages may vary by location.

Local Consumer Rights

Our policies are written for digital products sold by a New York-based business, but some customers outside the United States may have mandatory local consumer rights that cannot be waived by our Terms. Nothing in our Terms, refund policy, update policy, or translation policy is intended to limit non-waivable rights under applicable law.

Digital Content Cancellation Rights

Some countries give consumers cancellation or withdrawal rights for online purchases, including digital content. In some places, a customer may lose or waive certain cancellation rights after agreeing to immediate digital delivery or after downloading/accessing the content. The exact rule depends on the customer's location. Our checkout and policy language should be reviewed before selling in countries with digital-content cancellation rules.

Taxes, VAT, and GST

Taxes on digital products vary by jurisdiction. Depending on the buyer's location, seller location, product type, business status, sales volume, and local thresholds, sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes may apply. Taxes may be calculated and collected through Stripe checkout where enabled. If taxes are not shown at checkout, that does not necessarily mean no tax obligation exists.

Currency and Fees

Stripe may present prices in local currency, perform currency conversion, or process payment in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank, card issuer, payment processor, or local authority may still apply currency conversion, foreign transaction fees, import-style charges, or taxes that are outside our control.

Privacy Rights Outside the United States

Customers in some jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to certain processing of personal information. We will review privacy requests based on the location information available to us and the laws that apply to the request.

International Data Transfers

When you buy from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your country.

Translations and English Controls

We may offer reports or policy pages in languages other than English. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the English version of our legal terms and policies controls if there is a conflict with a translation. See the Translation Policy.
